At the end of the block, at Gray Street, is the handsome St. Rose of Lima School.  In later years the impressive staircase would give way to expansion when six more classrooms and a kindergarten were added.


One of my favorite Roseville photos is this colorized postcard showing the old Tivoli Theater.  Originally a vaudeville house, it ran first-run movies, in this case 1923's "Circus Days."
