Looking east again, here's the intersection of Orange and Warren streets (later W. Market Street).  We have a date for this photo: May 12, 1915.   This handsome old building (then it was Sayre's Drug Store) is still standing, despite the years and the vinyl-siding treatment.  The streetcar tracks on these streets got a lot of use, as off to the right was the old Roseville Car House.

At one time the main storage and repair facility for Newark streetcars, the Roseville Car House played an important role in regional transportation.  The storage yard, shown here, marks the end of Orange Street and the beginning of Main Street, East Orange -- and the end of our tour.
Not to tack on a stirring conclusion, but for my money, there was no better street to grow up around than Orange Street
