Farther up Orange Street, on the corner of Bathgate Place, is the landmark Roseville Methodist Church, built in 1889, and its rectory, or priory, or whatever Methodists call the place the minister hangs out.  On the south side of the street would be some of my favorite businesses, like Harry & Benny's grocery and the Irish bakery.

Across Orange, on the corner of Humboldt Street, we would see St. Rose of Lima Church being built, were we to pass in the mid 1920s.  Sadly, none of the trees around the church made it to our era!
