Well, it's not really a guitar, of course. Jimmy got this sitar from the Music Inn in Greenwich Village. He refers to it as "The Fender of sitars" and, to prepare for the FF's performance of Sgt. Pepper, learned to play it in two weeks. And he did a very fine job. Beatlesque guitars not shown: Jimmy's '80s reissue Rosewood Fender Telecaster, his '60s sunburst Casino, his '63 double-mute Gretsch Country Gentleman and his '64 SG. Onstage Jimmy uses a Vox AC-50 small-cabinet amp w/ extra cabinet. |
